Longoria Family Endowment
You are invited to the 3rd Annual Campanario Banquet benefitting the Deacon Leo and Anita Longoria Family Endowment. With delicious food and vibrant entertainment, this evening celebrates the generosity and acts of service many take part in through the Catholic Foundation's community service projects. Proceeds from this evening will provide perpetual funding for these community service projects.
Inspired by their daughter, Veronica's, child-like compassion and love for serving others, Deacon Leo and Anita Longoria wanted to find a way to share that inspiration and love with future generations of family and friends. After Veronica's passing in 2021 and Anita's passing in 2022, the Deacon Leo and Anita Longoria Family Endowment was established to support the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Tucson's community service projects.
The Catholic Foundation's community service projects, known as Thankful Thursdays, benefit different charitable organizations throughout the year. At a minimum, each project provides 100 care packages filled with the organizations greatest needs. In 2024, to honor Veronica's care for children, the Longoria Family and the Catholic Foundation named Diamond Children's Medical Center as an annual Thankful Thursday recipient.
